The popular four-door evolving from the Amigo sport utility vehicle, the Isuzu Rodeo enters 1999 in three trim levels spanning from the S, LS and now the new LSE model. Standard equipment on 1999 Isuzu Rodeo S models includes dual airbags, anti-lock braking system, AM/FM cassette stereo and a 60/40 split rear seat. Rear-wheel driven Rodeo S trim vehicles are the only application of a 130 horsepower 2.2 liter, 4-cylinder engine connected through a 5-speed manual transmission. On 4X4-equipped Rodeo S models, a 3.2 liter V-6 model is introduced to the utility vehicle lineup. Featuring 205 horsepower, an optional 4-speed automatic transmission is found on the S 4X4 and LS trim. Providing a standard automatic gearbox, the new 1999 Isuzu Rodeo LSE includes powered, glass sunroof as well as leather upholstery. Proving a capable truck-like vehicle, the 1999 Isuzu Rodeo offers up to 4,500 pounds of towing capacity.
