Newly redesigned for 2007, the Sierra 2500HD is offered in regular, extended or crew cab configuration, available in either two or four-wheel-drive. You can also choose from the standard box or the long bed in either work truck or SLE1, SLE2 or SLT trim levels. The base engine is a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 that produces 335 horsepower linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. There is also a 6.6-liter Turbo-Diesel V8 that produces 300 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque which comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission or the optional six-speed manual.

Model Review

The 2007 GMC Sierra lineup consists of the 1500, 2500HD, 3500HD, and the luxurious Denali. The 1500 is the half-ton pickup suitable for personal use, while the Denali gets its own 403-horsepower 6.2L aluminum V8 engine. In between lie the trucks designed for work upon which GMC has made their 'Professional Grade' reputation.
