A carry-over from 2006, the 2007 Sierra 3500HD offers up to six-passenger seating in WT, SL and SLT trim levels. The standard engine is the 6.0Liter V8 that produces 300HP and 360LB-FT of torque. There is also a 6.6Liter V8 turbo-charged DuraMax diesel engine with an Allison six-speed automatic transmission offered as an option on all models.

The 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 2500HD and 3500HD heavy-duty pickups are available in a wide range of configurations to suit various work purposes. Three different engines are offered, with a 6.0L V8 (making 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque) standard across the line. An 8.1L V8 with 330 horsepower and 450 lb-ft is optional, as is a new version of GM's 6.6L turbo-diesel V8 (making 360 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque).
