The all-new 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine powers the pair of body styles and makes 122 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, with a four-speed automatic available for $800 on the base S trim and a CVT as a $1,000 option on the better-equipped SL (which starts at $14,550).

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) performs independent crash testing of new vehicles and then assigns them a score based on their performance.
