A new model for Infiniti, the sporty 2008 Infiniti EX35 enters the fast growing compact luxury SUV segment with lots of style and performance. Built on the same platform as the successful G35 sedan, the EX35 is offered in Base and Journey trim levels. Under the hood is Nissan's 3.5-liter 297 hp V-6 mated to a 5-speed automatic with manual shift control which helps achieve up to 17/24 mpg city/hwy. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) performs independent crash testing of new vehicles and then assigns them a score based on their performance. The overall crash test rating is based on how a vehicle performs in the following tests: Driver Crash Grade: Measures the chance of a serious injury to a crash test dummy that is placed in a driver's seat and driven into a fixed barrier at 35 MPH.
