Since leading Infiniti's renaissance in 2003 and a complete redesign last year, the 2008 Infiniti G35 sports sedan continues with its strong performance, taut handling, and room for 5, now with added comfort and technology options. Available in Base, 6MT, and X trim levels, all are powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 with 306 hp combined with a 5-speed automatic with manual shift control. Fuel economy is estimated at 15/23 city/hwy. Safety features include standard ABS, traction control, front, side and curtain airbags, and tire pressure monitoring. The G35 has always compared well with BMW 3 series, Mercedes C class, and Audi A4, delivering luxury and performance combined with parent company Nissan's outstanding reputation for quality.

Model Review

The Infiniti G35 sedan and G37 coupe have similar styling and mechanical underpinnings for 2008, but there are some important differences between the two. The sedan includes a 306-horsepower, 3.5L V6, while the coupe gets a new 330-horsepower, 3.7L version with hydraulically controlled variable valve timing. In both the coupe and sedan, buyers can choose from a six-speed manual gearbox or a five-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
