2010 Bentley Continental Sedan

Summary

Provided by NADAguides.com

The 2010 Bentley Continental Flying Spur is a full-size ultra-luxurious sedan with room for five passengers. Hand built in Crewe, England, the Flying Spur is offered in two powerful trims both of which are powered by a 6.0L twin-turbo W12 engine. The standard trim generates 552 hp while the Speed version ups the ante with 600 hp. All-wheel drive is standard on both models as is a long list of exclusive and wonderful standard luxury amenities.

Benefits of Driving a 2010 Bentley Continental Sedan

With a price range hovering around $200,000, no one could call the Bentley Continental a great value. But with the finest hides used in the interior, the powerful W12 engine, and the stunning design of the Continental lineup, this is one of the finest driving machines on the road today. Where some of its competitors assume the owner will have a driver, Bentley assumes the owner will want to take the wheel himself. High-end fabrics and matched veneers are used throughout the car, and standard features for the Continental are only available as expensive options on other luxury sedans.

What's new for 2010?

Bentley adds a completely new Continental to the stable this year, the Supersports model. It boasts of being the fastest Bentley ever produced, with a top speed over 200 mph and a 0-60 mph time under 4 seconds. This comes from being lighter than its Continental siblings and a new 'Quickshift' transmission that Bentely promises halves shift times. It's also the first Bentley that will be capable of running on gasoline or biofuels, like E85.

Model Strengths

  • Seven variations to meet any taste
  • completely customizable
  • ultimate in performance and luxury

Model Review

There are plenty of Continentals for the Bentley fan to choose from. The base models are the Continental GT coupe and GTC convertible, and the Flying Spur is a 4-door Continental. All of these models have been given the Speed treatment, which ups their performance significantly. At the top of the line sits the Continental Supersports supercar, a coupe capable of running on gasoline, biofuel or any combination thereof. As it's the fastest car Bentley has built to date, it doesn't have a Speed version.

Original Warranty  help
Original Warranty
An original warranty is the warranty associated with a vehicle when it is brand new. In addition to the original warranty, select items, like tires, are typically covered by respective manufacturers. Also, an act of Federal law sometimes provides protection for certain components, like emissions equipment.
The original warranty is often broken down into multiple sections, including:
Basic Warranty:
Typically covers everything except for parts that wear out through normal use of the vehicle. Examples of non-covered items are brake pads, wiper blades and filters.
Drivetrain Warranty:
This warranty covers items the basic warranty does not protect. Wear and tear items such as hoses will not be covered, but key items like the engine, transmission, drive axles and driveshaft often will be.
Roadside Assistance:
The level of service differs greatly with this warranty, but many manufacturers offer a toll-free number that helps provide assistance in case you run out of gas, get a flat tire or lock your keys in the car.
Corrosion Warranty:
This warranty focuses on protecting you from holes caused by rust or corrosion in your vehicle's sheet metal.
Please check the owner's manual, visit a local dealership or look at the manufacturer's website to learn more about the specifics of the warranties that apply to a vehicle.
