The Saab 9-5 may be completely redesigned for 2010, and it only comes in one trim, but it packs a lot of value-laden bang for the buck. A powerful 300-horse turbocharged V6 powers the vehicle through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Standard all-wheel drive provides all-whether sure-footedness. Standard HID headlamps, satellite radio, power-adjustable leather seating, remote keyless entry, dual-zone climate control combined with Saab's understated handsome styling all round out a very attractive package. The 9-5 starts at a price similar to that of a Lincoln MKS or a BMW 5-Series--both very worthy competition.

The Saab 9-5 is all new for 2010. Replacing a previous generation that had been for sale for 13 years, the newest 9-5 is based on a platform shared with former parent company GM's Buick LaCrosse.
