Given a more aggressive looking face through some minor styling touches, the 2011 Audi A8 sedan's overall is also advanced through the application of subtle wheel arches and a reshaped rear deck lid. Model Review

A direct-injected 4.2L V8 engine making 372 horsepower and 328 pound-feet of torque is standard on A8 and S8L models. The A8L W12 FSI, to be available later in the model year, gets a direct-injected, 450-hp, 6.3-liter W12 engine. The A8 can get to 62 mph in 5.7 seconds, while the A8L W12 takes just 4.9 seconds. All A8 models come with quattro all-wheel drive, which is calibrated to feel sporty and enhance cornering confidence yet also take on slippery road conditions. The system can send 60 percent of torque to the rear wheels during normal driving, or more to whichever wheels have the best traction.
