On all 2011 Express cargo vans, air conditioning, dual power outlets as well as front and side airbags. Five engine options can be ordered on the 2011 Chevrolet Express cargo van starting with a 4.3 liter V-6 powerplant standard on the 1500 models. Chevrolet Express 2500 and 3500 cargo vans come standard with a 4.8 liter Vortec V-8 engine featuring optional 5.3 and 6-liter capacities. Performance of the Vortec V-8 engines range between 280 to 324 horsepower. Erupting with 525 pounds-feet of torque, the 6.6 liter Duramax turbodiesel presents heavy-duty alternator and battery. With either the 6-liter gas engine or 6.6 liter Duramax turbodiesel, the 2011 Express cargo van's towing capacity reaches to 10,000 pounds. New for 2011, Chevrolet Express cargo vans are included with standard GM StabiliTrak electronic stability control. An optional locking differential is also added across the 2011 Express cargo van's model lineup. Versions of the 2011 Chevrolet Express cargo van can also be fitted to run compressed natural gas or propane.
