The 2011 Super Duty F-350 is the largest Ford pickup available with a single rear-wheel configuration. Coming in a XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch Crew Cab for 2011, the Ford Super Duty F-350 SRW standard features included on all trim levels is air conditioning, a configurable cargo bed, Trailer Sway Control and AdvanceTrac stability control. 2011 Ford Super Duty F-350 SRW Lariat as well as the King Ranch Crew Cab models upgrade with leather-trimmed leather seating, Ford SYNC, reverse vehicle sensor aid and integrated trailer brake control. Rear-wheel and four-wheel drive, a new set of engines sets in the 2011 Super Duty F-350 SRW in motion. A standard E85-compatible, 6.2 liter V-8 engine provides a very usable 385 horsepower and 405 foot-pounds of torque. For more power, a new 6.7 liter V-8 Power Stroke turbodiesel presents 800 foot-pounds of torque. The Power Stroke turbodiesel is also equipped to run B20 bio-diesel fuel.
For 2011, Ford has taken its F-250 (three-quarter-ton), F-350 Super Duty (one-ton), and F-450 pickups and infused them with even more of the things owners hold in high regard--namely powerplants. Super Duty trucks are ideal for towing and hauling, and a host of new features such as Hill Ascent and Hill Descent Control, make the task even easier, while giving drivers added piece of mind.
Ford's Super Duty F-Series trucks are refined and refreshed for 2011, with an emphasis placed squarely on power. The front end is bigger and bolder in its design, including the grille, which boasts a Blue Oval emblem more than a foot across. The hood has also been reconfigured to make room for two newly available engines--a 6.2L gasoline V8 and a 'Scorpion' 6.7L Power Stroke turbocharged diesel--each of which boasts more power than its predecessors. Both are mated to an all-new 6-speed automatic transmission.
Ford has always offered its pickups in an array of configurations to suit every taste, need and budget, and the 2011 Super Duty trucks carry that thinking forward with three cab styles--regular, SuperCab and Crew Cab--and two bed lengths. The Super Duty utilizes a fully boxed front frame section, and Ford claims to use the thickest-gauge steel of any pickup in its frame.
