Wider and longer than the 2010 counterpart, the redesigned 2011 Honda Odyssey minivan changes are both cosmetic and mechanical. Within the shape of the 2011 Odyssey minivan is presented in five trim levels. Standard features including air conditioning, rear privacy glass, forward power seating and cruise control is found on the LX trim and higher models. EX, EX-L along with the Touring trims provide add-ons such as HomeLink remote, tri-zone climate control and power sliding doors to the standard feature list. HID Headlamps and a 5.1 surround sound stereo system comes on the top-end 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite. Capable of providing movement for up to 8 passengers, the 2011 Honda Odyssey is moved by a 3.5 liter, i-VTEC V-6 engine similar to the powerplant found inside the 2010 model year Odyssey. Satisfied with regular gasoline, the 2011 Honda Odyssey engine is modestly boosted to 248 horsepower thanks to a new intake manifold. Coupled with a five-speed automatic in most cases, the 2011 Odyssey Touring Elite is paired with an all-new six-speed automatic transmission.
The new 2011 Odyssey stands out from the pack by offering an especially thoughtful, versatile interior layout and stylish design. The Odyssey's new 3-mode second-row seat is also a standout in its class, able to fold, widen for passenger comfort, or become narrower for easier access to the third row. And the Odyssey remains one of the sportiest-driving minivans available-- especially with respect to handling.
The Honda Odyssey minivan is completely new for 2011 with fresh styling, a more versatile interior and improved entertainment features.
All Odyssey models have front-wheel drive and powered by a 248-horsepower, 3.5L V6 engine. LX, EX and EX-L models come with a 5-speed automatic transmission, while Touring and Touring Elite Odysseys get a new 6-speed automatic that is designed to bring better engine performance.
