The most modern sports car in the line of many built by the British marquee, the 2011 Jaguar XK base or 2011 XKR trims come in either a coupe or convertible body style. Base Jaguar XK coupe and convertible models come loaded with standard features including a 7-inch touchscreen with navigation system, a 525-watt Bowers & Wilkins audio system, Jaguar Smart Key System and electronic stability control. Within the 2+2 passenger interior, a choice of 5 different wood veneer options can be chosen inside of the 2011 Jaguar XK. Moved by 385 horsepower from a 5-liter V-8 engine, the Jaguar XK's fuel economy is 16 miles city and 24 miles highway. For 510 horsepower, the 2011 Jaguar XKR adds Active Differential Control, quad exhaust tail pipes and special R softgrain leather seating. As part of the Jaguar brand celebration for their 75th year of existence in 2011, a special edition Jaguar XKR175 is offered. Limited to just 175 Jaguar XK coupes, Ultimate Black exterior combines with a Warm Charcoal interior. Aerodynamic features including a front splitter as well as rear spoiler and diffuser completes the 2011 Jaguar XKR175. New for 2011, the Jaguar XK a Technology Package features high-tech items like adaptive cruise control.

Model Review

The Jaguar XK can be had as either a coupe or convertible, which are nearly identical but for the triple-lined fabric roof of the convertible. Both models feature a 5.0L V8 engine that makes 385 bhp and 380 lb-ft of torque. This means the XK can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds. The XKR comes with a supercharged version of the same 5.0L, which is capable of 510 bhp and 461 lb-ft of torque.
