The 2011 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is a five passenger luxury SUV available in diesel and hybrid trim levels. The base ML350 comes standard with a 268 hp producing 3.5-liter V6 engine, 7-speed automatic transmission, and RWD. Upgrading to the ML550 trim boosts power up to 382 hp thanks to a 5.5-liter V8 engine and grants the driver the convenience of 4-MATIC all-wheel-drive. Diesel and hybrid models are powered by a 210 hp 3.6-liter V6 diesel engine and a 335 hp full-hybrid V6 engine. Both diesel and hybrid models come standard with 4-MATIC all-wheel-drive and while the diesel comes equipped with the regular 7-speed automatic transmission the hybrid receives an 8-speed. Additional options are comprised of 20-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, iPod media interface, and rear seat entertainment system. Safety features include anti-lock braking, brake assist, blind spot assistance, and 10-way airbag protection. All M-Class models are covered for 2 years/50,000 miles.
