The 2011 Nissan Sentra is a FWD sedan with three available engine options; 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 140 hp, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 177 hp, and an additional 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine (SE-R trim level) that produces 200 hp. Transmissions include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed close ratio manual, and Xtronic CVT� automatic transmission. Depending on engine and transmission selection the Sentra can get anywhere between an EPA estimated 24 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. Options include navigation, rear-view monitor, and navigation. Safety features are comprised of six standard airbags, vehicle dynamic control, anti-lock braking, and electronic brake force distribution. For those interested in upgraded performance the SE-R trim level features a 200 hp producing engine, lightweight intake manifold, lightweight exhaust, aluminum pedal pads, paddle shifters, 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, truck-mounted V-brace, sport bucket seats, and oil pressure gauge. The Sentra is backed by a 3-year/30,000-mile warranty.

Safety Ratings What do the Safety Ratings mean? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) performs independent crash testing of new vehicles and then assigns them a score based on their performance. The overall crash test rating is based on how a vehicle performs in the following tests: Driver Crash Grade: Measures the chance of a serious injury to a crash test dummy that is placed in a driver's seat and driven into a fixed barrier at 35 MPH.
