The Yaris is offered in three different body styles: a 4-door sedan, 3-door liftback and 5-door liftback. All 2011 Toyota Yaris models come with a 106-horsepower, 1.5L 4-cylinder engine, making 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. With variable valve timing, the engine is quite flexible and responsive and works quite well with the available 4-speed automatic transmission or 5-speed automatic. EPA fuel economy ratings are 29 mpg city, 36 highway with the manual, or 29 city /35 highway with the automatic.

The overall crash test rating is based on how a vehicle performs in the following tests: Driver Crash Grade: Measures the chance of a serious injury to a crash test dummy that is placed in a driver's seat and driven into a fixed barrier at 35 MPH.
