The 2012 Audi Q5 is a compact luxury crossover SUV powered by two different engines. The base Q5 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. With the 2.0 TFSI engine and 8-speed automatic, the 2012 Audi Q5 performs similarly to its V6-equipped big brother while being much more fuel-efficient. The 2012 Audi Q5 is offered with two different engines. A 211-horsepower, 2.0L TFSI turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a 270-hp, 3.2L V6. With the 4-cylinder engine comes an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the V6 is paired with a 6-speed automatic. Both powertrains feature Tiptronic manual control, as well as the quattro all-wheel drive system, which sends about 60 percent of engine torque to the rear wheels under most driving conditions; on slippery surfaces or for better stability, the system will reapportion torque as needed.
