Entering its third model year in its present body style, the 2012 Cadillac SRX compact luxury crossover vehicle comes in base, Performance, Luxury and Premium Collection trim levels. All 2012 SRX models offer standard features including 8-way power driver seat, air conditioning, OnStar with 1-year no charge Direction and Connections, XM satellite radio as well as remote keyless entry. The trim packages present available features such as remote start, navigation system with 40-gigabyte hard drive, rearview camera and cargo management solutions. Standard engine power for the 2012 Cadillac SRX continues to come from a 3-liter V-6 powerplant generating 265 horsepower. An all-aluminum, direct-injected engine, this entry-level power on the 2012 SRX can be matched with either front or all-wheel drive. Replacing a 2.8 liter twin-turbocharged powerplant, the 2012 Cadillac SRX top output comes from a 3.6 liter direct-injected V-6 engine. Producing 300 horsepower and 260 pounds-feet of torque, the new 3.6 liter powerplant offers FlexFuel capability running on E85 blended fuels. For 2012, all models above the Cadillac SRX base trim add a heated steering wheel. All models of the 2012 Cadillac SRX crossover come with standard Bluetooth technology.
