The 2012 Jaguar XK is a performance-oriented luxury grand tourer available in coupe and soft-top convertible trim levels. The base XK is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 385 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. Upgrading to the XKR model grants the driver a supercharged version of the base engine, producing 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque. Features include bi-function HID xenon headlamps, heated exterior mirrors with auto-dimming electrochromic glass, front/rear parking sensors, keyless entry/start, steering-wheel mounted controls, hands-free phone capabilities, and touch-screen navigation. In its place, a new XKR-S debuts, which adds 20-inch wheels, active exhaust with quad tips and dark exterior trim and 40 more horsepower out of the 5.0L supercharged V8.
