The 2012 Maserati GranTurismo is luxury two-door 2+2 supercar coupe powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 405 hp for a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds (and a top speed of 178 mph). Upgrading to the S trim level boosts performance thanks to a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 434 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque. RWD and a 6-speed automatic transmission enables the GranTurismo to achieve an EPA estimated 13 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, for a combined 15 mpg. Standard features include alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, electronically adjustable suspension, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and surround-sound. Safety is comprised of front-impact airbags, side-impact airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and anti-lock braking (ABS). The GranTurismo is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.

Both models join the standard GranTurismo S Automatic Coupe and GranTurismo Convertible (GranCabrio).

The GranTurismo Coupe and Convertible include a 433-horsepower, 4.7L hand-built V8 engine, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The new GranTurismo MC and Sport Convertible models get more power, from a special version of the brand's 4.7L V8 engine, making 444 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. The MC can get to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 185 mph.
