No longer available with a base trim, the 2012 Maserati Quattroporte is a full-size luxury super car sedan available in S and Sport GTS trim levels. The Quattroporte is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 430 hp (S) and 440 hp (GTS). Equipped with RWD and a 6-speed automatic transmission the Quattroporte gets an EPA estimated 12 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. An independent double wishbone front suspension coupled with shock absorbers gives the driver silky smooth ride quality. Features include adaptive bi-xenon headlights, LED indicators, Alcantara side panels, audio input jack, USB port, touch-screen navigation system, steering wheel mounted controls, rear parking aid, sunroof, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Safety is comprised of driver airbag with dual-stage deployment, front side airbags, front curtain airbags, rear curtain airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and tire pressure monitoring (TPMS). The Quattroporte is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.

The Quattroporte S starts with a 4.2L V8 making 400 hp and a top speed of 168 mph. The Quattroporte S and Sport GT S models share a 4.7L V8 making 430 hp in the S and 440 hp in the Sport GT S. Top speeds are fast enough at 174 mph and 177 mph, respectively.
