Now offering an automatic transmission with the JCW trim level, the 2013 MINI Cooper Roadster is a compact roadster offered in standard, S trim, and John Cooper Works trim levels. The standard FWD Cooper Roadster is powered by the MINI 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 121 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque while the Cooper Roadster S comes equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 181 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. For even more performance drivers can upgrade to the John Cooper Works trim that boosts power to 208 hp. A 6-speed manual comes standard but drivers also have the choice of an optional 6-speed automatic. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 25 mpg city to 35 mpg highway, depending on engine selection. Features include HD radio, adaptive xenon headlamps, performance suspension, fully electronic throttle, and the MINI center-mounted speedometer.
