Starting at $198,900 | Starting at 12 MPG City - 20 MPG Highway
The true value in the Lamborghini Gallardo rests along three lines: incredible, spine-tingling performance; a design that's a rolling work of art; and the kind of exclusivity that pads the personal image of those who already have everything. The Gallardo is a powerful, flashy, all-wheel-drive supercar, and it's among the fastest sports cars in the world, capable of topping 200 mph. The LP 570-4 Squadra Corse is the model's ultimate -- and final -- version.
Following minor styling revisions last year, and ahead of its replacement by the new Huracan, the 2014 Lamborghini Gallardo bows out with just one limited-edition model, the LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, a coupe inspired by the LP 570-4 Super Trofeo single-marque race series. It will be offered only in Giallo Midas (yellow) for $265,000. Just 15 cars will be available in the U.S. market.
Powering the two-seat Gallardo is a mid-mounted 5.2L V10 engine making 570 horsepower. According to Lamborghini, the Squadra Corse can get to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 198 mph. The Italian automaker says it will get to 124 mph (200 km/h) in just over ten seconds. The Squadra Corse features a carbon fiber hood and rear wing, both of which equate to a 154-pound weight reduction over a standard Gallardo.
