Returning as a sport utility vehicle built on the same chassis as the well-received Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2011 Dodge Durango longer length provides a cabin with third row seating. Allowing up to 7 occupants, the 2011 Durango can also haul up to 84.5 cubic feet of cargo room. Standard features such as Hill-Start Assist, LED interior lighting, three-zone climate control and Sirius satellite radio is included on all 2011 Dodge Durango four trim levels (Express, R/T, Crew and Citadel). Standard on the Express, Crew and Citadel trim levels, power through rear-wheel or optional all-wheel drive is delivered through a 290 horsepower 3.6 liter Pentastar V-6 engine. Equipped on the R/T model as well as optional on either the Crew or Citadel-trimmed 2011 Dodge Durango, the 5.7 liter HEMI V-8 engine accompanies the sport utility with 360 horsepower and 390 pounds-feet of torque. Five-speed automatic transmissions allows power to be provided richly. Fuel economy for the Dodge Durango ranges from 16 city or 23 highway with a V-6 equipped rear-wheel drive dipping to 13 city or 20 highway when a V-8 version includes all-wheel drive.

Having skipped the 2010 model year, the Dodge Durango received a full redesign for 2011, and now features a more handsome, upscale appearance. For 2011, all Durangos get the new Pentastar 3.6L V6 engine, and as optional, a 5.7L Hemi V8 engine. The Durango now seats 7 in three rows and features such great tech features such as satellite radio, touch-screen-based Media Center stereo, Bluetooth music streaming and available blind spot and cross-path detection, adaptive cruise control and a navigation system from Garmin.

Model Review
The Dodge Durango got a complete redesign for 2011. It now features a true upscale exterior, reminiscent of the LINCOLN Navigator, an imposing front 'crosshair' grille, rounded headlights and a square-ish shape that looks impressive on the road and makes a statement wherever it goes.
