Restyled for 2012, the FWD hardtop Volkswagen Eos convertible has received the new VW updates including a wide grill, new LED headlights, new LED taillights and a redesigned rear bumper. Changes don't apply under the hood leaving the Eos with the same 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. Available drivetrains are limited to FWD and the same 6-speed DSG� transmission can be expected, which also means fuel mileage will have an upward range of 31 mpg highway. Safety is comprised of front airbags, intelligent crash response, anti-lock braking, brake pad wear indicator, anti-slip regulation, electronic brake distribution, electronic stability control, hydraulic brake assist, electronic differential lock and engine braking assist. The Eos is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
