Part of the Cadillac CTS line-up since 2009, the Sport Wagon version has weaved European-inspired looks into an American vehicle. Featuring a distinct, new grille where the Cadillac badge is worn with more prominence, the 2012 CTS Sport Wagon design is also enhanced through the addition of the Touring Package. Offered in rear and all-wheel drive, the 2012 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon is powered by either a 270 horsepower 3-liter V-6 powerplant or a newly refined 3.6 liter V-6 engine generating 318 horsepower. All 2012 CTS Sport Wagons channels power through a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Model Review

The Cadillac CTS is offered in three body styles: sedan, sport wagon and coupe. For the sedan and wagon, two trim levels are available, starting with the base 3.0, which features a 270-hp 3.0L V6 and a standard 6-speed manual or optional 6-speed automatic transmission. The CTS 3.6 is powered by a 318-hp 3.6L V6 and a standard 6-speed automatic. The coupe gets the 3.6, and all three body styles can be ordered with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

Safety Ratings What do the Safety Ratings mean? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) performs independent crash testing of new vehicles and then assigns them a score based on their performance. The overall crash test rating is based on how a vehicle performs in the following tests: Driver Crash Grade: Measures the chance of a serious injury to a crash test dummy that is placed in a driver's seat and driven into a fixed barrier at 35 MPH.
