The Premium Package now includes a rear sonar system and Infiniti Connection and all 2013 Infiniti M models feature auto-dimming side mirrors. A new Performance Tire & Wheel Package with 20-inch wheels and tires and Sport Brakes replaces the previous 18-inch Wheel Package.

The 2013 Infiniti M is offered in three different models: M37, M Hybrid and M56. A 330-horsepower, 3.7L V6 engine is included with the M37, while the M56 upgrades to a 420-hp, 5.6L direct-injected V8. The M Hybrid features a 360-horsepower 3.5L V6, along with an electric motor and can run on either one of its power sources at any given time. All models come with a 7-speed automatic transmission that has downshift rev matching and manual shift control. All-wheel drive is available in a road-performance-oriented system that can send up to 50 percent of torque to the front wheels.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) performs independent crash testing of new vehicles and then assigns them a score based on their performance. The overall crash test rating is based on how a vehicle performs in the following tests: Driver Crash Grade: Measures the chance of a serious injury to a crash test dummy that is placed in a driver's seat and driven into a fixed barrier at 35 MPH.
