Now available with Luxury and Sport trim levels, the 2012 Aston Martin DB9 is a luxury grand tourer super car available in coupe and soft-top convertible body styles. Both body styles are powered by a 5.9 liter V12 engine that produces 470 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque, for a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and top speed of 190 mph. Rear-wheel drive can be paired with a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed automatic. Fuel mileage is an EPA estimated 11 mpg city and 17 mpg highway. Features include 19-inch wheels, full-grain leather interior, heated seats, satellite radio, front parking sensors, rear parking sensors, boot-mounted umbrella, Dolby� audio system, six-CD changer, iPod� connectivity, hands-free phone capability, hard disk drive, and satellite navigation. The Luxury trim is adorned in silver accents while the Sport trim is equipped with black accents. Safety is comprised of dual-stage front airbags, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), traction control system (TCS), emergency brake assist (EBA), electronic brake distribution (EBD), anti-lock braking system (ABS), and dynamic stability control (DSC). The DB9 is backed by a 3-year/unlimited mile warranty.

What's new for 2012?

The Aston Martin DB9 got a significant refresh for 2009, with more power, revised styling and a bolstered feature list. For 2012 the DB9 is no longer offered with a manual transmission. The navigation system has been redesigned with a Garmin system and the windshield wipers now incorporate a blade beam design.

Model Review

The DB9 remains offered in coupe and convertible (Volante) forms. With the Volante, a little trunk space is sacrificed and refinement for a well-insulated soft top that can tuck itself away in about 17 seconds.
