If the Aston Martin DB9 or V8 Vantage isn't quite rare enough, the Aston DBS should almost provide the requisite exclusivity. Competing with the likes of the Ferrari 599 GTB or Lamborghini Aventador--but with a little more ride comfort, and a somewhat more lavishly finished cabin--the DBS can approach the $300,000 mark if optioned properly.
The Aston Martin DBS gets a few minor changes for 2012. The navigation system is now a Garmin unit, and the windshield wipers are now beam-blade type. Brake calipers are now available in red, yellow, grey or the default black.
The 2012 Aston Martin is offered either in coupe form or as a DBS Volante convertible--which comes with a power fabric top capable of stowing away in just 14 seconds at speeds up to 30 mph. Both versions feature a mammoth 5.9L V12, making 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, and capable of reaching 190 mph, or of getting to 60 mph in just over four seconds.
