With more cargo space than the V50, the 2010 Volvo V70 takes the sport wagon concept and stretches into a larger vehicle. A new engine will be found up front in the form of a 235 hp 3.2L PZEV six-cylinder which is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. As with all Volvo vehicles, the V70 is loaded with top notch standard safety features including traction control, and side-curtain airbags.

What's new for 2010?

For 2010, the Volvo V70 wagon gets a number of minor changes. On V70s that meet PZEV emissions, transmission shift points have been changed. Outside, the grille has been slightly redesigned, and silver roof rails have been added to the equipment list. Inside, a new steering wheel design has silk-metal accents, and the nav system gets a new startup screen. Options have been reconfigured slightly, with the Collision Avoidance Package renamed the Technology Package, and a new Multimedia Package that combines the Dynaudio sound system, Sirius satellite radio and the navigation system.
