A carry-over from 2005, the 5-Series is a four-door five-passenger sport sedan. The 5-series is available in 525i with a 3.0Liter, 215HP inline six-cylinder; the 530i that has the same 3.0Liter engine with 24 valves that increases the horsepower to 255; and the 550i, which offers a 4.8Liter V8 that generates 360HP. The 525 and the 530 are also available in iX version, which includes an all-wheel-drive system (with the 530iX also available as a wagon). Transmission options range from a six-speed manual to a six-speed steptronic automatic with sport and manual mode.
