Following a recent redesign, the 2009 Infiniti M35 four-door midsize luxury sport sedan now comes with a 3.5L 303-hp V6 engine with 262 lb-ft of torque. Available choices are all-wheel or rear-wheel drive, and a seven- or five-speed automatic transmission. In EPA-rated fuel economy tests, the AWD came in at 16 mpg city/22 mpg hwy, while the RWD achieved 17 mpg city/25 mpg hwy. Infiniti M35 standard features abound, including firm seats that are highly adjustable, comfortable and heavily bolstered. The M35 Sport features modifications, such as active rear steering and a sport-tuned suspension to improve handling ability. Optional are packages that offer a navigation system, a console-mounted DVD player, adaptive cruise control, reclining/heated rear seats and 14-speaker Bose surround-sound audio. Among the many standard safety features are stability control, antilock disc brakes with brake assist, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and active front-seat head restraints. Accommodating five passengers, the M35 is meant to get to where you are going in luxury and style.

Model Review

The 'M,' as it's called by Infiniti, is now available in four different models; there's the V6-powered M35 and the V8-powered M45, both of which can now be had with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The 4.5L, DOHC V8 makes 325 horsepower in the M45, while the M35 now comes with an updated 303-horespower version of the 3.5-liter V6 originally delivered in the second generation G35 sedan.
