A mid-size crossover SUV, the 2010 Chevrolet Traverse is offered with FWD or AWD. Your only engine choice is a 281 hp 3.6L V6 with variable valve timing and the transmission is a six-speed automatic. For 2010, the premium radio option now includes a USB port for use with various handheld and audio devices. Seating capacity in the Traverse is spacious with room for eight people. Cargo space is 116.4 cu ft with the second and third rows folded down.
Style meets practicality with the 2010 Chevy Traverse, which is closely related to the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook. At 205 inches long, the Traverse is larger than many crossover rivals, like the Ford Edge or Toyota Highlander.
Introduced in 2009, the Chevrolet Traverse is a classy alternative to traditional sport-utility vehicles, offering handling and ride comfort of a car with some of the interior convenience and roominess of a minivan. Few changes have been made from the 2009 introduction. For 2010, turn signal flashers are integrated into the side mirrors and a USB port is standard equipment.
The 2010 Traverse is again available in three trims: the base LS, the mid-range LT and the luxury LTZ. Each is available with either front- or all-wheel drive.
