What's new for 2010?

First off, last year this was known as the GX 470. The model name may be ten smaller, but nothing else has diminished--even the SUV's weight has increased by over 400 pounds. The SUV's new 4.6-liter V8 is slightly smaller than last year's, but it has noticeably more power -- 301 hp vs. 263 hp. The transmission is also new, too, a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic.

There's two varieties of GX 460--Base and Premium trims. Both share the 4.6-liter V8 engine with variable valve timing and 6-speed automatic transmission. An Eco indicator light in the speedometer lets the driver know when they're getting the best gas mileage -- a combined 17 mph, according to the EPA.
