The Ghost comes in at about $150,000 less than the Phantom, making its $245,000 base price a relative bargain. A 6-figure price tag like that, though, buys a century's worth of prestige and exclusivity, not to mention some of the finest in automotive luxury and the latest technology.
The all-new Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full 17 inches shorter than the well-known Phantom, and was built for the owner to drive, rather than a chauffeur. It's still a big car though, at about five feet tall and over 6,000 pounds. The V12 engine under the stately hood is still powerful enough to propel the car from 0-60 mph in a little under 5 seconds.
The Ghost is the closest Rolls Royce comes to producing an 'entry-level' car. At $245,000, it's a relative bargain compared to the Phantom, Rolls Royce's flagship.
