As a completely new car introduced in 2003, the 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom draws its lineage from a long line of large, rare and exclusive motorcars. The current Phantom offers classic but modern styling, uncompromising luxury and effortless performance. This three ton sedan is powered by a near silent 6.75-liter V-12 with 453 hp combined with a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission. Massive low end torque provides brisk acceleration while achieving 11/18 mpg city/hwy. An ultra rigid aluminum space frame surrounds an interior crafted with up to 15 hides of leather, genuine wood veneers and any luxury option imaginable hand built to your specifications. Rear power opera doors, retractable "flying lady" hood ornament, wine chiller and other notable comfort and technology features give the Phantom an old world charm and exclusivity like few other motor cars today.
Starting at about a third of a million dollars--and likely costing much more with customization--the 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom is available to a very small crowd with both the means and the desire to flaunt it, but that exclusivity is a large part of the Phantom's lure. With the Extended Wheelbase model, there is no more luxurious way to arrive--with a driver, of course.
For 2010, Rolls-Royce will introduce no changes to its Phantom sedan, coupe, or drophead coupe.
The 2010 Phantom carries on Rolls-Royce's traditional, conservative shape but with thoroughly modern mechanical components co-developed with BMW.
