The 2011 Acura TSX introduces many motorists to the Honda-backed luxury division offering an impressive arsenal of standard features. Power moonroof, HID headlamps, automatic climate control with air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity is found on all 2011 Acura TSX models. Available engine choices for the Acura TSX sedan range from a 2.4 liter four-cylinder generating 201 horsepower and concludes with a 280 horsepower, 3.5 liter V-6 engine. The 3.5 liter V-6 powerplant is included with a 5-speed automatic transmission while the smaller 2.4 liter engine can be fitted to a 6-speed manual for up to 30 miles per gallon highway fuel economy. For 2011, a sport wagon body style is introduced as Acura's first venture into such a vehicle type. Featuring 31.5 cubic feet of total cargo volume (more than twice the space as the TSX sedan), the Acura TSX Sport Wagon will only include the 2.4 liter inline-4 engine fitted with the 5-speed automatic for 2011. Vehicle Stability Assist, anti-lock braking and a full array of air bags is standard safety equipment on all 2011 TSX models.

Model Review

The base TSX comes with a 2.4L i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that delivers 201 horsepower with either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The 280 horsepower 3.5L V6 engine and 5-speed automatic transmission returns for 2011. The automatic transmission includes SportShift manual override and steering wheel paddles. The car's sporty handling comes courtesy of a special suspension that utilizes dual-mode dampers. These dampers have the ability to change automatically given road and driving conditions.
