The 2012 Lincoln MKS is a full-size luxury sedan available in FWD and AWD drivetrains. The base MKS is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 274 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. For increased performance, Lincoln offers an optional Ecoboost trim level, equipped with a 3.5-liter twin turbo direct injection V6 engine that yields 355 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired to the same 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle activation. Model Review

Three variants of the MKS are available for 2012: the 3.7L V6 with front-wheel or all-wheel drive and the 3.5L turbocharged EcoBoost engine with all-wheel drive only. The smaller engine produces 350 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque, as compared to 273 hp and 270 ft-lbs of torque from the 3.7L. All models get a 6-speed automatic transmission that can be upgraded to use steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
