The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car available in coupe, soft-top convertible, targa, and supercar trim levels. The base Corvette is powered by a 430 hp producing 6.2-liter V8 engine while upgrading to the Z06 trim level will grant the driver a 7.0-liter V8 engine that produces 505 hp. For maximum performance Chevrolet offers the ZR1 Corvette; utilizing a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine the ZR1 produces 638 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque. In addition to the upgraded engine the ZR1 features carbon-fiber accents, carbon-ceramic brakes, and an improved suspension. New for 2013 are 60th anniversary editions for all models and a 427 collector edition that utilizes Z06 parts. Available features include leather seats, 19-inch wheels, steering wheel mounted audio controls, hands-free phone capabilities, premium sound system with navigation, and heads-up display. What's new for 2013?

The 2013 Corvette gets a new option package, dubbed the 60th Anniversary package across all model lines, featuring unique badging and some high quality interior bits. Painted black wheels also make their return as an option across most Corvette models. The big news for 2013 though, is the 427 Edition Corvette. Similar to the Z06, the 427 Edition features Chevrolet's LS7 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. Unlike the Z06, the 427 Edition is a convertible--the fastest soft top Corvette available.

With the Grand Sport, the Z06, the 427 and the ultra-high-performance ZR1, there are plenty of Corvettes to choose from. The base coupe and convertible have a 6.2L, 430-hp V8 engine, known as the LS3, and a standard 6-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed paddle-shift automatic is optional. The paddle shifter includes a 'push and hold' function to make it easier to transition back to automatic after you've had your fun through the chicane.
