Updated for 2013, the Toyota Sequoia is a seven passenger full-size SUV offered in RWD and 4WD drivetrains. Two different engines are available; a 5.7-liter V8 that produces 381 hp/401 lb-ft of torque and a FlexFuel variant of the upgraded V8 engine. All engines are paired to the same 6-speed automatic transmission that enables the Sequoia to achieve an EPA estimated 14 mpg city and 18 mpg highway. Features include voice-activated touch-screen DVD navigation system, backup camera, 13-speaker sound system, rear-seat DVD/BlueRay entertainment system, 4-disc CD changer. What's new for 2013?

From 2013 onwards the only engine available in the Sequoia is the 5.7L V8, which now replaces the old 4.6L in the base SR5 trim. Other changes include an update to the rear seat entertainment system. While 2012 only featured a DVD player, 2013 Sequoias have an available Blu-Ray player for rear seat occupants.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) performs independent crash testing of new vehicles and then assigns them a score based on their performance. The overall crash test rating is based on how a vehicle performs in the following tests: Driver Crash Grade: Measures the chance of a serious injury to a crash test dummy that is placed in a driver's seat and driven into a fixed barrier at 35 MPH.
