The new Acura MDX is an improvement over the model it replaces on almost every level: style, comfort, performance, and fuel efficiency.
Along with more aggressive exterior updates, the new MDX will have a new powerplant under the hood: a 3.5-liter, direct injection V6 with Variable Cylinder Management to improve fuel economy. With it, Acura hopes to achieve best-in-class miles per gallon for 2014. For the first time, the MDX will ride on an all-new front-wheel-drive platform but will continue to offer the Acura Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive setup.
A longer wheelbase promises to improve ride comfort and the new MDX will be loaded with safety and convenience technology, from Adaptive Cruise Control to Lane Departure Alert and a multi-angle rearview camera.
The 2014 Acura MDX is poised to maintain its popularity and perhaps gain a new legion of crossover buyers when it goes on sale later this year.
