The Lexus RX is one of the most popular luxury vehicles on the market, so it's no surprise that the all-new 2016 model was one of the most highly anticipated debuts at this year's New York Auto Show. Lexus wowed attendees when revealing the SUV's bold styling, which draws inspiration from the brand's smaller NX crossover.

Striking New Look

On the outside, changes to the latest RX are immediately obvious thanks to its bold new grille, its highly angular look and a D-pillar that gives the SUV a unique look that's unmatched by virtually any rival. Changes abound inside the RX, too, as the crossover touts a more modern interior that's similar to several other newly redesigned Lexus models. Unfortunately, however, the RX still doesn't offer the sought-after third-row seating.

Under the hood, the RX offers two engines: a 3.5-liter V6 that now makes 300 horsepower (up 30 horses from last year's model) and a 3.5-liter hybrid V6 for shoppers interested in getting better gas mileage. New features include a 12.3-inch center screen and Lexus's new Safety System Plus, which includes a wide range of the latest high-tech safety gadgets.

If you're interested in the new Lexus RX, start looking for it to reach dealers sometime in the fourth quarter of 2015.
