The fully redesigned 2016 Nissan Titan is here, and it’s been engineered, designed, tested and built in the U.S. to appeal to American pickup shoppers. To find out more about the latest Titan, we interviewed Fred Diaz, Nissan’s senior vice president of sales & marketing and operations.
According to Diaz, one important quality when designing the Titan was developing a muscular, bold appearance to appeal to truck shoppers. The latest Titan certainly offers exactly that. Diaz also noted that the Titan’s interior needed to be spruced up compared to the outgoing model, which is why the latest pickup boasts a series of major revisions designed to modernize the cabin and improve its quality. Another major upgrade is a Cummins V8 turbodiesel engine under the hood.
