Ford F-150 Raptor: Detroit Auto Show - Video

Ford created quite a buzz at this year's Detroit Auto Show when it pulled the cover off its all-new F-150 Raptor. The latest Ford F-150 Raptor, based on the all-new 2015 F-150, follows up on a successful model that initially went on sale for the 2010 model year.

The latest F-150 Raptor offers some big changes from the original model. The most obvious, of course, is styling, which combines the latest Raptor's bold looks with the new F-150's more modern appearance. The new Raptor is made of weight-saving aluminum construction and has a standard EcoBoost V6, which replaces the previous brawny 6.2-liter V8.

Like the outgoing Ford F-150 Raptor, the new model boasts some serious off-road upgrades, including beefy tires, a wider track, lifted suspension and improved ground clearance. If you're excited by all this, look for the latest Raptor to reach dealers during the fall of 2016.
