6 Great Used Minivans Under $10,000 for 2019

If you’re looking to do some family hauling on a budget, then you’re probably shopping for used minivans. Right now is a good time to be shopping for an affordable used minivan since the segment has been strong for quite some time now. That means there are a lot of great minivans that were good values when they were new and even better values now after going through some depreciation.

If you want to experience the joys of sliding doors, a huge interior, and second-row captain’s chairs, but don’t want to spend more than $10k, then you’re in the right place. Here are six great used minivans you can find on Autotrader for under $10,000 in 2019.

Dodge Grand Caravan

2008-2019 Dodge Grand Caravan

The Dodge Grand Caravan is still soldiering on today without any major changes since the 2008 model year. This Dodge minivan has always been competitive on price meaning they’re very affordable on the used market. Since it’s been around for more than a decade, you can get one from the late 2000s that isn’t all that different from a new one. Also worth considering is the Chrysler Town & Country, which was mechanically identical. Find a Dodge Grand Caravan for sale

2005-2010 Honda Odyssey

2005-2010 Honda Odyssey

The third-generation Honda Odyssey was when Honda really figured out how to make a great, class-leading minivan. It has a powerful V6, big and versatile interior space, excellent safety ratings and a strong reliability record. From behind the wheel, you might feel like you’re in a newer vehicle since its handsome and functional interior is aging so nicely. For a well-rounded minivan on a budget, it’s hard to beat the Honda Odyssey. Find a Honda Odyssey for sale

2004-2010 Toyota Sienna

2004-2010 Toyota Sienna

The Toyota Sienna offers many of the same virtues of the Odyssey of the time like a strong V6 engine and a flexible, family-friendly interior. What the Sienna also offers is optional all-wheel drive, which is a class-exclusive feature for the Toyota. That makes the Sienna a great minivan for families who could use a little extra traction when the roads get bad in snowy climates. However, AWD didn’t become available until the 2009 model year. Find a Toyota Sienna for sale

2006-2014 Kia Sedona

2006-2014 Kia Sedona

The second-generation Kia Sedona, which ran from model years 2006-2014 and got a nice face-lift for 2011 (including a stronger engine and standard Bluetooth) has outstanding safety ratings and came well equipped with lots of standard features. This Sedona was a strong value when it was new and that value holds up on the used market. If you like the Sedona, you should also consider the very similar Hyundai Entourage, which only ran from model years 2006-2009. Find a Kia Sedona for sale

2004-2009 Nissan Quest

2004-2009 Nissan Quest

The Nissan Quest was an interesting alternative to the more mainstream Japanese minivans. It had a strong V6 engine and a good transmission along with a unique look both inside and out. It could be had with multiple screens with the backseat entertainment system — one for the second row and another for the third row — and it was also available with a unique SkyView roof with five individual sunroofs. It’s a bit of an odd minivan, but still very versatile and family-friendly. Find a Nissan Quest for sale

2005-2008 Chevrolet Uplander

2005-2008 Chevrolet Uplander

When we say the Chevrolet Uplander, we also mean its many General Motors stablemates: the Buick Terraza, the Pontiac Montana SV6 and the Saturn Relay. The styling of all of these minivans is a little bit SUV like, which is nice if you’re looking for a minivan that doesn’t quite look like a minivan. They offered a nice V6 engine and a well-stocked interior with family-friendly gadgets. The Uplander was only available in two trims: LS and LT and at this price point, we recommend springing for the nicer LT.
