If you’re looking for the perfect older Cadillac, you’ve found it. Here’s a 1983 Cadillac Coupe de Ville with just 4,700 miles — an absolutely unbelievable figure for a car from this era.
Most impressively, this car absolutely looks like the preserved specimen that it is. The exterior appears free from any damage or problems, and it’s finished in silver with a dark red vinyl top. This de Ville is very red on the inside, too — the seat upholstery, the dashboard and all of the carpet are all a rich cardinal red.
I cannot stress enough how absolutely perfect this car looks. It’s rare you find a car preserved this well for this long, as 4,700 miles would be even a noteworthy figure on a 1983 Ferrari — let alone a Cadillac. The Carfax report provides no real clues to the mileage, noting only that it’s been in Ohio since at least 1996 and that it had 3,000 miles by then. At one point, a Carfax report noted that the car had 103,000 miles, likely written by a service advisor unable to believe a 1980s car had only traveled 3,000 miles — but the wear on the Cadillac backs up its low-mileage claim.
If you’re interested in this de Ville, it’s at Sunnyside Chevrolet in Elyria, Ohio, for $18,900 — which strikes me as a bargain given its unbelievable condition. The 1980s didn’t yield a lot of valuable Cadillacs, but this is likely the nicest one left from the period. Find a Cadillac Coupe de Ville for sale
