If you’re looking for a Corvette that’s been through its paces, well, there’s no better example than this. This 1987 Chevy Corvette has traveled an amazing 330,000 miles, making it the single highest-mileage Corvette currently listed for sale on Autotrader.
This car’s 1987 model year makes it a “C4” model, and this car has some rather unusual modifications that seem period correct — like its eye-catching 5-spoke wheels and some unusual side strake added to the door to make it look like a Ferrari Testarossa from the same era.
More important, though, are the miles. The ad claims the car is a 1-owner example, meaning the current owner (and seller) has had it 31 years and traveled all 330,000 miles with it. The Carfax report seems to show this assertion, noting that the car has been with the same owner in Pomona, California, near Los Angeles since at least 1993 — and probably longer, though Carfax gets a bit spotty as it gets older. Amazingly, the car hit 300,000 miles in around 2000, meaning the owner drove it a lot in its first 15 years on the road, though it’s been used only sparingly since.
If you’re interested, this yellow C4 convertible is offered for $10,000, and the ad notes the car needs some work, including an air conditioning compressor, a heater core and an updated radio — and the ad also says the engine could “probably” use an overhaul. With these miles, that’s hardly surprising.

10k is a little insane considering I got one near mint for 4.3k (75,004 miles) because the guys wife told him to get rid of it.
I’ve spent some time in C4-era Corvettes, and all I have to say is WHY. They’re horrible places to spend 15 minutes in, let alone 30 years and 300,000 miles.
You’ve obviously never owned one. They’re great cars, don’t have much leg room but as long as your not 6’7″ (I’m 5’7″ so I fit nice in it lol) or so its fine. The seats are actually really comfortable and the ride is pretty smooth for an 80’s sports car.
Good grief, And he expects 10k for it WHYYY?
Exactly! This is crazy. I’ll sell you my 94 with 228k for 4500 with 10 years of service history any day of the week.
Thats a lot of miles but nothing like the corvette at the Bowling green Corvette museum. The one there was a c5 with over 700,000 miles still with the original engine!!
It reached 720k miles on its original head gaskets, which is probably even more amazing.
