Autotrader Find: 1994 Porsche 911 RS America With 5,200 Miles

These days, the collectible Porsche world is absolutely on fire, with many cars selling for enormous amounts of money as the desirability of older Porsche models increases rapidly. This particular car is among the more desirable older Porsche models, and it has tremendously low mileage — a rarity for one of these.

The car in question is a 1994 Porsche 911 RS America, which was a lightweight, American-market-focused version of the 964 Porsche 911 that was sold from 1995 to 1998. This particular 964 is in fantastic shape, and it’s also traveled just 5,165 miles from new — an amazing feat, considering that these cars were largely bought for driving. Low-mileage examples of the RS America are rare.

Of course, with that rarity comes an impressive price tag. This particular RS America is offered by Marshall Goldman Motors in the Cleveland area for $189,900, which is big money for any car and even big money for a 964, as they don’t tend to command high values like other Porsche models. However, the RS America is a highly desirable version, so the pricing definitely makes sense, especially given the condition.

This RS America is finished in red with a stripped-down black or gray interior featuring cloth seats — not leather — which is in keeping with its status as a bare-bones, track-focused car. The ad notes that it’s one of just 84 RS America models built for the 1994 model year, and the condition really is excellent. Find a Porsche 911 for sale
