If you’re looking for an excellent Dodge Viper, you’ve found it. This one checks all the boxes for any Viper enthusiast, and it’s currently listed for sale on Autotrader.
For one thing, this Viper is the famed blue-and-white-striped GTS model, which was only offered for the 1996 and 1997 model years. Those are the colors everyone remembers from this era — the "bedroom wall poster" Viper colors — and probably the most distinctive Viper color scheme of all time, save for the original bright red RT/10 roadster models. It’s getting harder to find the blue and white Viper GTS models, but this is exactly that.
More importantly, it’s a really nice one. This Viper is a 1996 model, the first year of the GTS, and it’s traveled just 1,911 miles from new, meaning it’s been preserved far better than most other Vipers. But like a lot of Viper models from this era, that doesn’t translate to a huge asking price. This one is offered for $64,995, which is a price I’m convinced we’ll look back and laugh at, reminiscing about how it’s amazing that such an iconic American performance car was ever so cheap. If you want a blue and white GTS with more miles, you can even find them for less than $40,000.
But if you want a pristine car, this is it — and it’s offered by R.E. Jahn Auto Sales in Pennsylvania, ready for a Viper enthusiast to come and buy it to drive or to preserve. Find a Dodge Viper for sale
