Behold, a 2002 Toyota Camry with 529,000 miles. This car has traveled more than 106 miles per day, every single day, for fourteen and a half years. And here's the crazy thing: It still looks really good.

This 2002 Camry LE is offered for sale by Koch 33 Auto, a Toyota dealership in tiny Easton, Pennsylvania, near the former steel towns of Allentown and Bethlehem. It has traveled exactly 529,344 miles since originally being sold new on May 15, 2003 -- and it was doomed to live a life of long-distance travel right from the start.

For example, the Carfax report shows that the original owner purchased it May 15, 2003 -- and by May 28, 2003, it had already traveled 10,300 miles. In thirteen days! Things only snowballed from there -- and by the following May, it had already covered 36,000 miles. It hit the 100,000-mile mark sometime in early 2006, after less than 3 years on the road, and 200,000 came in the summer of 2008. And now, after many more years and hundreds of thousands of additional miles, it sits, available to you, with 529,344 miles.

Here's the crazy thing: It looks shockingly good. After traveling a distance almost far enough to visit the moon and make a full return trip, this Camry looks like every other normal 2002 Camry. In fact, I think it looks better: There aren't any major visible imperfections on the outside (with the possible exception of what looks like paint peeling off the trunk), and the interior isn't really worn any more than I'd expect it to be -- 500,000 miles or not.

In other words, this car is proof that the Toyota Camry is about as reliable as everyone thinks it is. But will it stay reliable into the 600,000-mile range and beyond? For only $2,195, you could find out.
